18+ YEARS
EXPERIENCE
Chasity
I'm Chasity, but most folks know me as Chas. I’m a wife, mama, and the owner and creator of Bucks Parlor. My journey with hair started back in high school, cutting and coloring my own hair and experimenting on friends. At the time, I had no idea where those little beginnings would lead me.
I went the college route, majoring in Business and Marketing, while working at Great Clips and cutting hair to help pay my way through school. After graduating, I worked my way into a higher-end barbershop, where I quickly realized that barbering wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was the path I wanted to pursue.
Not long after, I met my husband and moved to Durango, where his dad grew up. Together, we started farming and homesteading, building a life rooted in family, hard work, and community. It didn’t take long for me to notice something Durango was missing: a true local barbershop. A place where you could walk in, get a great haircut without booking two months in advance, and leave feeling good about where your hard-earned dollar went.
I didn’t want to build a shop just to get rich. I wanted to create a place that valued its customers, delivered quality cuts, welcomed everyone, and genuinely cared about the community.
Bucks Parlor has been a journey of trial and error, with plenty of barbers coming through the doors along the way. Almost six years later, we’re still here—slingin’ haircuts seven days a week.
I couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve built or the community that has grown around the shop. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just another customer—you’re part of the family. And once you’re part of the Bucks family, you always are.
We love you guys, and we’re incredibly grateful for every haircut, conversation, referral, laugh, and bit of support you’ve given us over the years. Thanks for letting us do what we love and be a part of this community. We look forward to seeing you in the shop.

Sky
Hi I’m Sky! I truly believe that life is about finding the things that make you feel most like yourself—and for me, that’s my dogs, being out in nature, and creating hair that helps people feel confident and seen.
Hair has always been so much more to me than just a job. I love the connection that happens when someone sits in my chair, trusts me with their hair, and lets me be a small part of helping them feel good about themselves. Whether you come in knowing exactly what you want or have no idea where to start, I’ll take the time to listen, get to know you, and create something that feels right for you.
When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll probably find me hiking with my dogs and soaking up the beauty of Durango. This town has given me a life where I get to do so much of what I love, and after more than three years here, I’m incredibly grateful to call it home.
I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and hopefully help you leave my chair feeling a little more confident than when you walked in.

Sean started cutting hair in middle school after inheriting his grandfather’s clippers. After years of traveling and living around America and Japan while working in the snowboard and television industries, he eventually found his way back to cutting hair and attended barber school at Paul Mitchell.

Chas, Candess, Sky, Garrett, Sean, and Ivan work different days and hours throughout the week. If you’re hoping to see a particular barber or stylist, check the [Stylist Schedule] before coming down. The shop schedule is subject to change, so the current schedule is the best place to see who’s expected behind the chair.
