BUCKS BASH. (AFTER PARTY RESCHEDULED)

Howdy! The time has come to CELEBRATE, block party style. Friday, June 3rd, we are having our annual BUCKS BASH. We are stoked to have lots of local crafts, handmade goods, vintage, local music, & food throughout the day, from 12 to 5. Afterwards, head on down to Channel 37 ( 112 Narrow Gauge Ave ) for more tunes, comedy, beer, & food! 5pm to 7pm. $5 dollar ticket for the after party, included with entry; one ticket for the big raffle grab bag & any additional tickets are $5 !

We will have a big & small Raffle grab bag, goods donated from some of our favorite folks in town!

First Friday POP UPS have been one of our favorite ways to support local artist in the Durango community. We have been welcomed with open arms in this community & are so grateful! We look forward to seeing you there! Come on out. 12 to 5 at Bucks Parlor 644 East College Drive and 5pm to 7pm at Channel 37.

One Year Anniversary

Buck YEAH, we’re ONE! Opening our doors March 1st, 2021 seemed a bit daunting to say the least.. There were so many uncertainties, but the dream of owning our own brick & mortar never dwindled. A gal from Texas & a gal from Tennessee, planted roots in the beautiful Rockies & saw a need in Durango. A niche we felt we could fulfill, & wow has it surpassed our expectations . We love the community in Durango, and wanted to create a space for everyone.. A place where the locals go. A place you tell your friends & foes about! A place where the tunes never stop. & good conversation comes easy. A place called Bucks, where you can get your hair cut & buy vintage. Happy Birthday to us, to Bucks Parlor, we look forward to serving this community for years to come! Now please enjoy a little before & after of the shop, we did as much of the work ourselves as we could, & hired local folks to help with what we couldn’t.. We have worked with some pretty incredible folks that help make Bucks unique ( local artist helped us nail down our logo, Desert Sun for the fresh coffee served, & Ska Brewing for the local beer poured.) We’ve created some pretty special relationships & look forward to working with more folks from the community! Stoked to be here & stoked that YOU are here.

Meet & Greet

Howdy, Lauryn and Chas here with Bucks Parlor, a woman owned unisex barbershop in Durango, Co. Bucks is a new small business, we opened our doors March of 2021. Found a cool location & became an LLC in October of 2020. We’ve been working on this business since 2019, however owning our own shop has been a dream for much longer. After putting some roots down in the area, we realized Durango caters to their tourists, as it keeps the town thriving. We wanted to create a space that felt like a front porch hang with your buds. We are stoked to be a neighborhood barbershop, upbeat, affordable place for locals, families, & college students to get a killer haircut. Our shop isn’t priced by gender, but based on the length of your current style. Also, all jokes aside, EVERYONE is welcome at Bucks Parlor & we look forward to meeting all of you.
