Bucks Parlor welcomes barbers and stylists interested in full- or part-time opportunities. We’re also open to hearing from licensed barbers and stylists traveling through Durango who are looking for an opportunity to get behind the chair. Whether you’re new to town, returning to the industry, looking for a change of pace, or simply trying to find a shop that feels like a better fit, Bucks offers a different kind of work environment.

A Busy Walk-In Barbershop
One of the advantages of joining Bucks is the walk-in clientele. Haircuts operate on a walk-in rotation, helping keep customers moving through the shop without requiring every barber or stylist to build an appointment book from scratch. Client requests are welcome and encouraged, too.
That can be especially helpful if you’re new to Durango, getting back behind the chair after some time away, or making a move from another shop. Instead of spending all your energy worrying about an empty schedule, you can focus on the person sitting in your chair.

Less Scheduling. More Cutting Hair.
For haircuts, customers don’t book appointments or call ahead. They walk in, and the crew works through the rotation. Because haircut customers walk in rather than book ahead, the crew spends less time managing haircut appointments and cancellations. Bucks also has front-desk support to help with shop logistics, giving the crew more room to concentrate on clients and their work.
It’s a laid-back setup, but the shop stays moving.

Bucks Parlor isn’t built around making every barber or stylist look, work, or act exactly the same. Chas has more than 14 years of industry experience, and she opened Bucks Parlor in March 2021. Her time behind the chair helped shape the kind of workplace she wanted Bucks to become: a neighborhood shop where people can work together, learn from each other, build relationships with clients, and still be themselves.
